Genex Systems, our proprietary Biometric Fingerprint Recognition system (GENEX FRS), is a fully integrated hardware unit which consists of a fingerprint sensor, embedded microcontroller unit, external device interfaces (to controls door locks, garages, etc) and plug in Ethernet connectivity to the internet or a local network.
The GENEX FRS hardware architecture consists of a Fingerprint sensor controlled by a 16-bit embedded micro-controller which communicates using TCP/IP protocols with our proprietary high-level software. It can also control external devices such as locks, garage doors and alarm systems. |

- Create a unique encrypted digital signature based on the fingerprint. Thus it does not store the actual fingerprint, allaying concerns of privacy.
- Host server can be placed remotely from the sensor units and the communication can take place over the Internet/LAN using secure TCP/IP protocol.

GENEX Systems also provides a high level software package. This proprietary software performs all Biometric functions, manages all the GENEX FRS units in a network and generates reports based on clients' requirements. This software is designed to be fully integrated with existing client systems and can be easily customized based on client needs. Some of the features of our software system are:
- The administrator can manage the Biometric network using the internet from anywhere in the world or from any authenticated terminal in the local network
- Generates reports on Biometric Activity and on access logs. Reports can be customized based on client requests
- Administrators can put some or all of the GENEXs FRS units in a network into groups. They can set access privileges to these groups.
- The functionality of each GENEX FRS unit can be modified via software. It can set a GENEX FRS unit exclusively for user enrollment purposes, or it can set it to control a specific external device such as a lock or garage doors. It can enable/ disable these features.
- Requires bio-metric validation every time the software is used or every time the Biometric parameters are modified
- No Biometric data is ever deleted. So complete reports of activity at all GENEX FRS units can be viewed by authorized administrators.
- Can be configured for scheduled backup as well as manual on-demand backups.
